February Randoms

February went pretty fast. It was a fun and low key month.

We have started MCO back up and so that means our Thursday's are crazy. It also means we get to hangout while June is in choir for 45 minutes. Owen falls asleep so Kate and I just hangout. We usually clean out the car and play on the grass. Or destroying my pack of gum.

We have started prepping our house to sell. We got a new dishwasher because we have been living with a broken one since we moved in this house. We got a new one to help sell the house. I unloaded it all on my own and Dan installed it. We can do anything as a couple!! We're awesome!

Our weather has been AMAZING!!! Let me  say that again. AMAZING!!! We have been living outside as much as possible! It's been so fantastic!

We are climbing up things now days, which also means climbing down things and falling and rolling down stairs. I guess they learn eventually. Poor thing.

Warm enough weather for the kids to play in the pool. The water is FREEZING but that doesn't stop the kids. June plunged right into the water. What are we going to do without our pool!?!

Some times June falls asleep in our bed. This particular night she was so peaceful with her little arm wrapped around her lamb and wearing daddy's T-shirt. She's growing up. Too quickly.

Prepping our house means getting rid of a lot of stuff we just don't need anymore. I gave our little bouncer away to someone who needed it. I'm always sad to give away things that I have memories of with all three of my babies.

One day, after my yoga class, Owen randomly asked if we could go have lunch with daddy. So we called daddy up and off to lunch we went. I was a sweaty mess but totally worth it, seeing how happy Owen was to have lunch with his daddy!

Back to playing in the pool! They were mixing their giant bowl of soup!

Many walks to our little local park. I love getting on my longboard!

My little buddy and I.

I went to my first yoga workshop and it was incredible. I can honestly say I have never sweat more in my entire life than I did that day. My yoga mat was soaked! It was an incredible experience, I learned so so much!  I cannot wait to do it again.

I became really good buddies with this girl next to me. Her name was Danielle. We bonded.

Just an everyday moment. Sand box all day long.

Wii games at night. We play Mario Kart a lot. June has actually started playing and getting pretty good! Ok no, she is awful, but she can stay on the road and doesn't get last place every time. Hahaha

We also play A LOT of LIFE. June loves it and Owen just likes to spin the wheel and fill his car full of girls. June gets super into it. It's fun playing games with her!

June's school had a President's day parade

Dan and I try to give each other a night out each week after the kids go to bed. On my night, I went and saw "La La Land". I love being alone. Always have and probably always will. It rejuvenates me.  I sent Dan this picture to let him know I made it to the theater and had my drink and popcorn.

Trying to capture a lot of moments that I have taken for granted the last five years in this house. Things that I know I will miss. Like this window in our playroom.

Kate is slowly but surly picking up on this walking thing!

I really need to try and capture on film what it's like when Dan comes home everyday. He is just swarmed by the kids. The recent thing is how Kate reacts. She try's crawling so fast to daddy before the other kids can get him. When they get to him first she just reaches out her little arms so hard and makes a screeching sound until he picks her up! They love their daddy!

We ended up in the ER with Kate because of a 105 fever that would not come down. What's weird is that for the past three years we have been in the ER on February 27th. THREE YEARS IN A ROW!! Weird right!? I think I officially hate February 27th!

So long February!

Be My Valentine

Quick Note- Dan took the older two to the new Lego movie today, so it's just me and Kate at home. It's so quiet and I am able to get so much done! It made me think back to when it was just June and me everyday! It was so easy!! It made me miss it a bit.

Our Valentine's this year was pretty basic and simple.
Dan and I celebrated the previous weekend, simply because it's easier finding a babysitter on a weekend than a week day. We celebrated 10 years since our first date!

We made valentines for daddy the day before

It's no secret that Dan and I love playing lotto tickets. We really don't play to win. It's just fun! Dan gets me a bouquet of flowers for Valentines and I got him a bouquet of lotto tickets. :)

On Valentine's day, June had school and so we went about our business as usual. When I picked her up from school we drove straight to daddy's work and delivered our Valentines to his co-workers. This was our 3rd year of doing it. The kids love it and they love seeing daddy's offie.

The kids got to play in daddy's office for a while. Spinning chairs and all. They didn't want to leave!

When we got home it was late enough in the evening, that the kids just played before dinner. June was putting on a show for me with all her Valentines that she got at her school party.

I sent the kids off to play in their rooms while I set up all their little Valentine surprises. It's nothing big, just some candy and a few coloring things, but it makes their day!

For dinner we made our traditional heart pizzas with heart grapes and heart strawberries. I forgot to take a picture of the fruit. Silly me.
The pizza's were a huge hit as always.

After dinner we really went on with our night as usual. Dan and I had our gym night together, so we worked out and then enjoyed the rest of our night!

The next day Owen had his Valentine's party! I was able to attend that since I was in charge.
He was so excited to have me there! He was showing me all around his classroom and introducing me to his little friends. He was so cute!!

For our craft we made little Valentine monsters. There are all boys in his class, so I figured monsters were a good fit.

Owen has the best smile, but it cannot be forced! He smiles when he wants to smile. That is it! I can't wait for his actual class pictures in a few weeks!

We had donuts and fruit as their snack before heading out to the playground. Owen's favorite treat is donuts so I thought it was fitting!

Me and my little buddy. I love these little moments like this. When his sweetness overtakes all the crazy and it's nothing but pure love!

House Update: Inside Before Drywall

This week the house is under inspection getting ready to be lined with drywall!

Here is kind of the house. Pictures aren't that great because I was holding Kate at the time. Hopefully I can get better interior pictures next time.

This will be the kids play room. Where doors can shut and I NEVER HAVE TO SEE THE MESS!! Can I get an amen!!! Right now our toy room is right as you enter in our house and I really dislike it. Hahaha I know, first world problems. But I still dislike it!

Still upstairs where all the kids bedrooms are. We thought this would be Owens room but he changed his mind and wanted to be closer to June. That might change over time. Haha so for now this will be Kate's room.

June's room

We realized looking out their windows that the kids will have views of the lake.

I'm standing in the main room upstairs. This will be the media room. We are still debating whether to keep that as our only TV section or if we will put something downstairs. Still undecided.

Another view of the main living room upstairs. I seriously love how many windows there are! So much light!

Laundry room

This will be a sitting room, but will slowly be turned into a music room. Piano, guitars, and any instruments the kids decide to play. They will play the piano though. They just don't have a choice on that one! Hahaha

This is a spare room down stairs. we have some fun plans for this room. No, we aren't turning it into a guest bedroom. I mean guests can stay in there when they come, but we have guests like twice a year and we don't really feel it necessary to waste part of our house and waste the purchasing of furniture to have it sit, unused. Plus I have to clean it. We have other purposes we are excited to use it for. Don't worry guests, we have proper planning in place for when you come. You won't be snoozing on an air mattress.

Stairs. Just classic stairs.

Kitchen nook/dinning room and Kitchen.

The wood in the middle of the cement is where the island will be. Pantry in that corner. A PANTRY! WOOT WOOT! One of those extras that you just are giddy about.

Hall and entry way

So I totally failed to do bathrooms and Master bedroom and bathroom. As the drywall goes up, I will take more and better pictures!

PROGRESS PEOPLE!!
