Father's Day

I felt bad this year because Father's Day was a bit over shadowed by the other millions of things we have going on. I felt even more bad because Dan gave me such a wonderful Mother's Day and I just couldn't keep up.
It was still a great Father's Day though and we celebrated Dan all day long!

We went to the park and played Sunday morning and then came home and got ready for church.

Kate is at that beastly age where she is too little for nursery but doesn't want to just sit. So we roam the halls on a regular basis.

We came home from church and let daddy rest while we made dinner and had some down time.

We opened presents and one of his presents was an ice cream maker. The kids really wanted to get him that, so we went for it. It actually made some pretty good ice cream.

I am so grateful for Dan and his role in our family. He is such a good dad and our children adore him. He's incredibly smart, handsome and genuinely kind. Got the whole package with this guy. Happy Father's Day Dan. Love you more than words can ever say.
