Hello 2019

Don't worry, I know that it's February, but I gotta start off the blog book right & it always starts with a hello to the new year.
I am really looking forward to this year. All the fun and adventures to be had, the growth, the goals to be achieved and some goals that we will fail but so far so good. Kate has dropped her pacifier completely, Owen has officially started undressing and dressing himself (Which is a HUGE game changer) and I'm teaching yoga online. It's been a great start to the new year. Also it's kinda been hard because one of us has been sick thee entire 1.5 months. I am sooooo tired of doctor visits, prescriptions and long nights. So there has already been good and bad but its life and man have I taken the mantra that it's not what life gives us, its how we handle it. I take that to heart. The good and the bad.
2019 has potential to be awesome & I can't wait to see what it has for us.

Welcome 2019!

New Years 2018-2019

It was such an awesome new year celebration this year. We played with friends all day and all through the night! A good way to go out of an old year and bring in a new year.

We went to our local trampoline park and played there for the afternoon.
Little Kate kept stealing everyones bags of chips

playing in the foam pit

The crew just playing on the tramps

Me and my little Go-Go's

After the trampoline park we all went home and got ready for the night. We hosted New Years at our house this year. We had a lot of fun.

Everyone showed up between 7-8pm. I made the kids a balloon countdown and each hour had a fun game or activity for them to do.

Us adults had games of our own! And we even made a balloon drop!

Celebrating New Years with these cute kiddos

Christine and me drinking our mini Martinelle's.

Bottoms up to the boys. Who could chug their entire bottle the fastest.

Little Kate and her grin kills me every time!

Always happy to ring in the new year with my main squeeze.

Love celebrating with our friends and having an awesome night! We got kids to fall asleep and we ended up talking/laughing and playing games until 3:30am! We partied  hard. It was so much fun and we were all soooo tired the next day!

A great way to ring in the new year!!
Here is to a fantastic 2019!

Christmas Time

Christmas Break was a good one where we just stayed home and enjoyed all of our Christmas traditions!
Christmas Eve we got all ready for our Dinner that night.
We of course made our traditional Pin Wheel.

Playing and taking silly selfies together.

Our special Christmas dinner is always on Christmas Eve. We did things a bit different this year and I think it's going to be  a tradition we stick with. We each picked our favorite food and made a meal out of it that way. We had stake, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese and lots of other yummy fixings.

Our dinner was by candle light and it took all the kids energy to not blow out the candles. Haha it was funny.

After dinner, we cleaned up and got ready for our usual Christmas Eve traditions.
Including our Christmas Pajamas.

And our reading of Luke 2. It was fun having June read some of it.

We also let the kids act out The Nativity. They were laughing so hard that they could hardly act it out.

We left our stockings out, left pinwheel and milk for Santa and all got ready for bed. The kids watched a Christmas movie and then tried to go get some sleep. I was surprised that they actually fell asleep so fast.

We then got to work on Christmas!

Working on the Doll House

In the end it took Dan ( I just watched hahahaha) about 2.5 hours. So not too bad.

We got everything set up and headed to bed around midnight! We actually did pretty good!

The next morning, the kids slept in until about 7. They did really good! We were all so excited to go out and see what Santa had left us!

Kate got a giant doll house

Owen got a Nintendo DS

June got a camera

It was then time to open presents! We sorted through them all and took turns each opening our presents!

My most favorite Christmas gift was from Owen, where he used an entire roll of scotch tape to wrap his present to me. I mean the whole thing was covered in tape. It made me extremely happy.

Inside was a drawing of our family and I loved it so so so much!

I spry Kate

The rest of the day was spent with the kids, playing with our toys, remembering Christ & just being with our little family. I love Christmas. It is always so special but each year is special in it's own way! Can't wait for the next Christmas!

Christmas Break

Christmas break was a well rested time off that we all needed. It was fun being home together as a family, playing with friends and enjoying our Christmas.

We did a lot of puzzles. This puzzle was freaking dumb but we did it. There was so much black and it took us a while!

June's little Christmas class party. It was fun celebrating with her and her little friends

Sweet little friends

Sugar cookie making! A huge mess but always worth it to me.

Our friend Christmas party was a blast! We ate, we sang, we laughed and we partied until 2am. Our poor babysitters. Haha

I don't even know what was happening here but I love Dan. Bhahahaha

We decorated a gingerbread house as a family. We loved it!

Our Christmas Sunday! I hope my kids let me match them forever. Obviously they won't but I'll keep going until they find it humiliating! Which will be never because I am going to teach them how cool it is to match ALL THE TIME!

My besties surprised me by kidnapping me from my house and taking me out for pedicures and sushi. It was a total surprise and I felt extremely loved!

I turned 32 over Christmas break. We celebrated with friends and then since my birthday was on Sunday I got to just take it easy. Dan spoiled me rotten and I loved getting celebrated by the kids.

More puzzles. This one was June's. A 300 piece! we helped her but she did a lot of it too!

We went to the movies of course

And took silly pictures to wish all those a Merry Christmas!

And this is my top nine from my yoga instagram account. I don't know what point in my life I will stop doing yoga (probably never) but just in case I want the proof that I used to do cool things!

We then just played and celebrated Christmas! It was super low key and really really nice!!
