Camping In Arkansas

In June we took a friend camping trip to Arkansas. It was an incredible trip and we would love to do this again! It was such a fun time. 

We did a five hour drive to go camping, yes but it was totally worth it where our campsite was. It was perfect! We spent one evening in a hotel and then the other three nights were spent in our tents. 

Pictures are a bit out of order but Just posting them all!

Before we headed up to our campsite we stopped to dig for crystals. We were so dirty but the kids had a blast digging for crystals and digging through all the dirt.

Thankfully we did have bath houses with toilets and showers but sometimes it was just easier to stay at camp! I just loved little Kate brushing her teeth in the great outdoors! it was just so fun!

It was so gorgeous as to where we camped. Our sites were all just on the water and we loved having such easy access to swim and play! 

We did a fun hike called Caddo Bend Trail. It was a solid four miles and the kids did awesome! I couldn't believe how well they did! 

Our Views were amazing! From morning until evening we had the best view of the entire camp site!

We did get the chance to go mini golfing with the kids and adults! It was pirate themed and it was a lot of fun! 

Digging for Quartz Crystals was so fun! We were extremely dirty but we found some fun crystals in all that dirt. The kids had fun digging and being allowed to get dirty! Ha

June took on fishing with the boys this camping trip. They never caught anything but it was still fun watching them fish and hear their chatter

All our food this camping trip was AMAZING!! All the food turned out awesome and we had fun creating meals in creative ways! It was delicious. everything we ate!

Lots of Jet ski rides! We had a blast! This picture was seconds before Our Friend Cole Shot June right off the Jet Ski! Haha She loved it! 

We brought a giant lake trampoline that was anything BUT a trampoline! It was crazy hard to get on but once you were on it was fun. It wasn't nearly as bouncy but it was fun for the kids!

Once after a hike Owen was purely exhausted and fell asleep for a couple of hours and then crashed hard that night! 

Because there are no rules when you're camping! 

I had to take a picture of this bouquet of flowers. Not because it was made by the kids... no. It was me. I carried these flowers for four miles all to put them in a cup for our table. My hand was so swollen. I think I had some reaction to the flowers. It was crazy! and funny! 

Little Charlotte and Little Kate. They are the best of friends and the worst of enemies. They beg to play with each other on the daily but then fight. hahaha Most of the time they truly are best little friends.

That one time I got caught up in my book and floated so far away, I had to get out and walk back to camp. Haha 

Teaching the kids new card games and kicking their trash. Haha! No mercy! They talk too much trash that I couldn't let them win!

It was the funnest camping trip I have ever been on! We really hope to do it again next year! It truly was amazing!!
