Another year in the books at Destin Florida! It is always such an amazing time when we go with the Fabfive and this year once again did not disappoint. We stayed in a different location this year and it was fun to explore a new part of the beach and different restaurants.
The beach was pretty calm this year. There was a giant sand bar out deeper in the ocean which we loved because the kids could swim and play on it!
Being buried in the sand is an absolute must and these two little besties were so cute together
The sunrise never disappoints. One morning I went out for an early workout and it was just me. I loved it out there being so peaceful and quiet. I loved it so much!

There was this amazing sandcastle next to our spot and the kids were so obsessed with it. Kate played with her little dolls on it most of the time. It was so cute!

The highlight this year was definitely catching all the sea life! There were so many little creatures this year and the kids had so much fun catching them all!

As usual at night we got the kids all settled and us adults crammed into a car (All 10 of us) and went to cruise the town. We love going out with our families but its also so much fun just going out with us adults!
One night after getting back from dinner, we put the kiddos to sleep and then around midnight us adults headed out for a walk by the ocean shore. There were GIANT crabs! We hunted them for a solid hour. We were screaming, laughing and running! It was probably my most favorite night there!
Out exploring we found this tree that had GIANT LIMES on them. They were so big! So we picked a few and made the kids eat them! us adults made drinks with them! They were so big!
Our pool this year wasn't private but it was soooo much bigger than last year and we actually ended up liking it better.
I was sad because after 12 years of having the same toe ring on, it was lost in the ocean and I had to take a picture of the dent that it has made in my toe.
Late nights led to late start mornings and we didn't care. It was such a relaxing vacation.
Like I said the saline did not disappoint this year! The Jellyfish were so incredible and they were all over the place!
It was such an incredible trip! We love these friends of ours and all our crazy adventures. Destin is always a highlight of our year. We have other plans this coming summer so I'm not sure we will be able to get back there, but the fabfive always have an adventure coming up!
