November Randoms & Thanksgiving

November was a really fun month of just fun random things that went all month long.

Our school introduced Bring a parent to P.E. day and it was  a lot of fun seeing what the kids do at school.

One really early morning!

Early in the month the kiddos had their Thanksgiving feast at school. We loved having daddy there too!

Dan working on his latest project.

Early morning school drop off. Kate is always a trooper to get in the car so early to take the kids to school.

One day June's second grade class had a safari day. Us parents got to go and learn about what the students had written about. The room was all decorated like a jungle and the kids were wearing safari hats. It was SUPER CUTE! !

I wasn't personally there for this, but wanted to mention my gramps who was honored at a banquet for Veterans day.

Little Ranger got all snuggled a warm towel while I was folding laundry.

Our Friends decided it would be a great idea to do a coed softball team even though we were horrible! Hahaha  It seriously was so fun throughout the season! Our team was the Humdingers and we never won a single game. We were just grateful we didn't get run ruled! Hahahaha

One day at Walmart Kate asked to have her picture taken my the sleigh!

Doing makeup is a pretty regular thing for Kate. She loves it and she says she feels so pretty!

Just one random day

Our school has a kind poster and June's teacher sent me this!
 Playing around outside

One Saturday morning snuggling Ranger

Owen's P.E. Day. We got to workout with Monsters

Last dance class before Thanksgiving break and the littles got to do a Turkey dance for us!

Kate had her preschool Thanksgiving day brunch.

Another random night of Humdinger softball. Braums always makes us feel better!

We had our very first head wound when we were over at a friends house. It freaked me out and June was screaming bloody murder. Thankfully no stitches, just a good ol' cut. It healed quickly! She was so lucky it wasn't worse. She fell off the tramp and hit her head on the side of a stone flower bed. It could have been way worse!!

Thanksgiving break brought lots of fun for us. Little Kate here was so sad that she couldn't give Ranger the pie. She really wanted to share with him.

We went to six flags with friends. Having season passes is the best!

This picture makes me so happy!

They have s'more stations all over Six Flags and it was chaos to let them roast marshmallows. but the kids loved it so I guess it was worth it!

Thanksgiving feast! We had sooooo much food!

This is about how much the kids ate. Haha

Then us girls hit the town and did some late Black Friday shopping!

We ended the night at I-HOP. It was 3:30 in the morning and that food never tasted so good! IT was such a fun night!

Funny story. Our house ceilings are pretty tall. Actually really tall. So I had the brilliant idea to get a really tall tree. So we bought ourselves a 12 ft tree. We got it up, fluffed it, even started decorating.... and I hated it! hahaha. It was just too tall. So Dan being such a good husband took down the tree, boxed it up and we returned it back to the store. We ended up getting a 9ft tree and it fit in the house so much better!!

And then just like that it was Christmas time! It was a fun thanksgiving break and we had fun eating lots of food and enjoying being with friends. We were very excited to get Christmas underway!

June's Baptism

June made the choice to be baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was baptized on November 9th, 2019.
We were so fortunate to have family from far come and friends close by to come and support our little June bug with her big decision.

Hanging out at the airport waiting for Nana and Papa to arrive

June got a big lego set as one of her birthday presents from Nana and Papa so naturally her and nana worked on it together.

That Friday, Aunt Meg flew in with her girls. It was fun shopping and going to eat at Torchy Tacos.

While the girls shopped the boys, (including Dan, Owen, my dad, Dan's dad and his brother Will) went and played golf.

Saturday was the day of the baptism. It was at 10:30am. We arrived at the church at 10am to set up and be all ready and there wasn't a soul in site to let us into the church. Obviously I instantly went into panic mode. Hahaha. But all was well, the primary president showed up and it all worked out.

Our cousin Sam and three of our besties sang during the baptism.

Grandpa Lancaster gave the talk on Baptism
Grandma Mendenhall gave the talk on The Holy Ghost

Dan baptized June and he did fantastic. Then he blessed her with the Holy Ghost. I always love hearing him give these extra blessings to my children. It just feels my soul with deep love for him over and over again.

And the fact that he has the hardest time looking at the camera! Hahahahaha

One of my besties Melissa. Who took all our pictures, and made things go smoothly.

Our family!

Our family who traveled far to come and support June. We are so grateful for them. It's not always easy to get away and leave life behind, so it meant the world to us that they made the effort to come.

June has the very best primary Teachers! We are so grateful for them!

After the baptism we had a luncheon. Chicken and waffles. Turned out to be a huge success.

After we ate, the kids played outside and the adults played corn hole!

I was beyond tired by the end of the day. Lots of emotions and fun! So blessed to have June and her decision to be baptized!

June's Baptism Pictures & Announcement

We made the plans to have June's baptism pictures taken at the beach and I am so so so glad that we made it happen. The colors all turned out so perfectly and June said she loved the setting for her pictures. Love this little beauty!!
