May came and went in a blink of an eye. With finishing up school to living at Hawaiian Falls.
One morning I went for a run which led to Kate coming along and she buckled in Snow White. I thought it was the cutest thing!
Silly Little Kate
My parents came to visit us for a week and we got to enjoy some of the heat of Texas.
After weeks of being up in the air if we were even going to have a dance recital, the girls finally got to perform. That included Dan too in the daddy/daughter dance!
It was so fun having my parents there to cheer on the girls and support them in the weirdest dance recital we have ever been apart of. Thanks COVID!
One day we spent the entire day at Hawaiian Falls. The kids had a blast showing my parents around and doing their favorite slides over and over again! So much fun!
June's dance recital was on Friday. A different day than Kate's. Once again thanks to COVID we got to experience two different dance recitals. It was bizarre!
My mom enjoying Ranger and the warm weather
One night we were out for a walk with our friends when we came across a tarantula! It was so big and so gross! But we had fun chasing it around.
Just a walk around our neighborhood. We really live in a beautiful place!
Spending warm days playing around the neighborhood and at friends houses!
We wanted to tie-dye t-shirts for our last day of school party! It was insanely hot this day and the kids weren't;t really feeling it but the shirts turned out super cute and they ended up loving them!
Just me and the best snuggle buddy around!
I have no idea what day this was or what it was for, but all three kiddos hanging out in the back of the truck!
We had a break in the hot weather and it poured down rain. The kids had a blast playing in it!
My wild child and her wild hair
We experimented with bubble socks one day. It was a lot of fun! Kate loved it the most!
Owen working on his reading! This kid took off with his reading skills the last half of the year!
Just playing and doing our daily thing! Little Kate in her braids was so adorable this day!
When the kids pick flowers (MY FLOWERS) hahaha and bring them to me!
During quarantine I got pretty bored at some points, so I painted a lot of walls. Owen's galaxy wall ended up being my favorite project to do and I loved how it turned out.
We then filled his entire room with glow in the dark planets and stars. It truly turned out super cool!
Two little besties floating in the pool
Celebrating Melissa's birthday!
Thanks to the flu, then spring break, then COVID Kate never got to be recognized as the Student of the week. So we celebrated it at home. We had fun talking all about our most favorite Kate!
COvid stopped us from having a proper kindergarten graduation party but we bought a cap and gown and my friend took some pictures for memory sake. Totally worth it!
Little miss Kate and all her sass.
We are pretty much against masks unless we absolutely have to wear them. This was one of those times. Little Kate hated every minute of it and i was right there with her.
June worked insanely hard to purchase a moped this spring. It helped that she was home a lot to do special chores, babysit and basically be a mini me to earn enough money. She was proud of herself and I was proud of her for saving up so much money!
Our garden did pretty great this year. We had so many tomatoes! Too many to keep track and lots of cucumbers! They were delicious but as summer is starting to come to an end so is our summer garden.
This was purely for memory sake. With Dan working from home, He would wake up each morning and make me a fresh drink. I drink a certain drink every morning and it was always there waiting for me. I loved it and I love him for doing that for me.
Dan has been killing it in the wood making lately! He built me this planter box for our back Patio. he has created a bunch of other stuff too but this one was so beautiful!
I was so excited to be selected as part of the Pura Vida Bracelet family! It's been great commission and its fun sharing things that I love!
Happy May!!
