Coronavirus: Week Three

Week three and things are just going and going.

I decide to rip the carpet out of my other closet. Because I hate carpet. If I had it my way my entire house would have no carpets. Just really big rugs. But at least I got rid of the last piece of carpet in my down stairs.

June creating yummy things for us in her easy bake oven.

I'm in the middle of crocheting a blanket. It's been fun having a project I can do while just sitting there and hanging out.

I'm actually pretty proud that I am continuing my workout routine. It helps that I'm used to doing my yoga everyday, but I've been running a lot more, kick boxing and weight training everyday. I'm also do a challenge with my family that has kept the workouts going 6 days a week.

We discovered a birds nest on top of our swing set. Just two little precious eggs.

Dan has been busy in his workshop working away. He built this hammer and was incredibly pleased with it. I guess it involved a lot of difficult detailing. I'm proud of him.

The starting of General Conference. We started off with bingo. It really helped getting the kids to listen and be involved in at  least a few talks without having to tell them to be quiet every five seconds.

Walmart has now started limiting the number of people inside. I'm just trying to document all the crazy!

Home Depot is also doing it.

Owen wrote this sad letter to Dan about how Daddy is home but still has to work. Haha we all wish Dan just had the days off but we are also so grateful that he gets to continue working!

Lot's of crafts at home! This was making things out of clay and then we waited for them to dry and painted them.

Getting into a nice groove of things which also includes virtual piano lessons with June's teacher. It's working out really well.

Since we couldn't do the Home Depot work-shop in store we were able to take home the kits. The kids got to build a recycling truck. It was super cute!

Up in our high tower in the swings. A bird decided to build its nest. Which meant we could get super close and look at its eggs. So crazy!

More headlines from the news. I'll be honest I am getting tired of the constant reminder of deaths and scariness out in the world.

I found this to be so true. Our days are so scattered and it feels like March and April will never end!

Our school did spirit week for the kids and Tuesday was Pajama Day. Given why the kids are still in pajamas. Walking the lakes in our neighborhood. Finding all the turtles and just enjoying the beautiful weather.

Once again not knowing what day it is.

These signs are everywhere in our grocery stores. Especially Walmart. It's just so crazy to be apart of all of it. To experience it first hand.

April 1st rolled around and I knew I had to play some fun tricks on the kids. So of course I made the typical jello drinks.

It's crazy that we aren't doing church right now, but so grateful that we have the priesthood and spiritual guidance and tools we need to have church at home.

Just more News

An April Fools joke I tired to play on Dan. It obviously was horrible but the kids thought it was funny! Haha

Just a reminder of what our little school started out as. It's got a lot more papers on the walls now, sight words, math help and just random stuff. Our kitchen has been taken over but it's been also kinda great.

More crazy things at Costco. I honestly have been avoiding Costco at all costs. But now it's about that  time that I need to go get stuff and I'm terrified.

Because it's true

I started teaching LIVE yoga classes. It has been a learning curve for sure and something I have never done before but its also been a lot of fun. I have missed teaching so much, so it's been fun getting on LIVE.

To remember what our school work assignments now look like. I am so bummed this is what school is now. The school work has been great and I cannot be thankful enough for the teachers and what they are doing for us. I just know June and Owen are missing their school and their friends and it makes me sad.

The jello drink for April Fools was a success. The kids loved it!

Kate loves doing makeup with me in the mornings and her eyebrows especially in this picture kill me! Hahahahaha

More changes to Walmart. I hate that they close early. I hate not having the choice to go grab something late if I forgot it that day or something. It's awful but I completely understand why they are doing it.

I just liked this.

Hahaha I thought this was funny.

To remember the COVID count.

Little Owen has been a reading Machine lately. I feel like the comfort of our home is helping him relax and just go at his own pace. I really have loved this part of school. To just sit with him everyday and read. I know I could do that when he was in school but by the time he got home he was worn out and the last thing he wanted to do was read. So this has been so nice!

Mandatory Stay At Home order in affect.

Just more changes that happened during this time.

General Conference was so different this time. I felt it was extremely needed and I love to have guidance and wisdom from our Church Leaders!

My life. Hahaha

This hasn't hit us yet, Thank goodness.

Over General Conference changes were made and Christ became our symbol over Moroni Statue. I just thought this Meme was really funny .

Quotes and messages shared from our Church leaders that I really love.

So really just a lot of news articles, conference and living day to day. We are actually getting the hang of it and now life is just this. life. It's no longer new or fresh or even exciting. It's now all just mundane. I'm finding myself checking the news less and less.
