Class Blog.

Just a quick little post. I am in Custom Images at school, and we had to create a blog for our pictures and work that we do throughout the semester. Although it is for my classmates to look at I would love any comments, suggestions or ideas. It could really come in handy over the semester. Especially from my friend Megs since she is a photography major and is a genius when it comes to this stuff. There isn't a whole lot on it right now since the class did just start, but through the months there will be more so  if you get board check it out every once in a while  at

Hole In Ten

Yep I did it. For the first time a played a whole round of golf with Dan. My own golf clubs were launched on my back, and I walked the whole time. My dear sweet husband kept offering me a golf cart, but I told him nope, I am not going to be the wimpy girl who can't carry her own. It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon, and Dan and I finally had no obligations keeping us from the crisp green grass. The hole in Ten thing is true. Yeah so what if I suck at golf, I still am very proud of myself. My average was about 10 strokes for each hole. Some were better some were a lot worse, but Dan and I had a blast, and I didn't ever get frustrated at Dan or the golf clubs. I didn't even say a bad word. Dan was very proud of that. I Loved it and I was so proud watching my hubby birdie, and par most of the holes.
All in all my golf score was 98 on a par 35. I would have taken pictures but I was to dedicated to the golf.

Walking Tall (CHALLENGE STYLE)

Challenge time for my blog readers!
School started today, its warm and I love walking from the Spori to the Ricks with some good beats in my ear. But as I was walking acting like i was cool while listening to T.I with some Justin Timberlake added in, I thought to myself, wow we as humans sure look down a lot. Well being the weirdo that I am, I knew that this had to become a challenge for me and my blog readers. So for the next few days I would like all the blog readers and myself to look up while they walk. I mean literally DO NOT look at the ground in front of you. Now this isn't a self esteem issue, or something to boost your confidence, but if it does great I did something good. This is just a challenge to show how hard it is to look straight ahead. If you fall down, Laugh it off and get up, if you break you leg, I am sorry but not my problem. Of course do this at your own risk, but do it because its funny. Lots of love from me!

Happy One Year Blog

I was anticipating the one year of my blog. I told Dan that I could not miss the chance to write on my blog every year on April 6th. Well I forgot. ha ha luckily I did post the weekend on there so I guess that counts, but it is fun to look back and see all that has happened in a year. Time is flying by and I can't believe that Dan and I will be celebrating our two year anniversary this November. I hope to look back a year from now, and be just as satisfied with life as  I am today looking back on all the memories good and bad. I am sure this year will be a lot more eventful with so many changes, but wow what a life, and I am so happy that I get to share it with the man I love!

Lets go Fly a Kite

Brooke and Jeff came to pay us a visit this weekend, which was well needed since I haven't seen Jeff since Christmas. Being the best grandpa ever, my dad always gets the grand kids special treats for when they come to visit, and this time was kites! The weather was perfect for flying kites so we all put on our coats and hats, and went to go fly a kite. Mary Poppins would be very pleased with our spring activity.

Here is Gramps getting the kites started

He seriously is the best grandpa! My kids are very lucky (When I have kids that is)

Now I loved these pictures so i played with them a little bit in Photoshop.

Here is the before

and here is the after. Its just a saturation color change with, the kids color added back in.
This picture of Mike and Caden is my absolute favorite.
So here is the before picture....

Here is the after. I don't know why but I just love their positioning and stance in this picture. I am using it in my portfolio.
Its called:
"My Daddy Taught Me How to Fly"

Caden Flying his kite so high
Lauren and Caden Playing in the sand box. these kids were bound and determined to play outside, despite the freezing cold weather!

We later went to my mom's office to do an ultra sound on Brooke, and Morgan and Lauren were giving each other piggy back rides it was really cute, and funny.
Later that day we went shopping, and had lunch! It was so much fun. I love just shopping with the girls.

Sunday we just all watched general conference. Now this is an angel food cake. The last time my mom made this, she didn't fill it all the way, and the cake wasn't very full, so she decided to put all the batter in and this is what happened! we all just watched it bubble over the top, but it was really good!

Lauren was obsessed with grandma's classes and seriously wore them the whole weekend. I don't know how she didn't get a head ache, but anyways they were twins throughout the weekend. It was very cute. Isn't my mom seriously beautiful! holy smokes I hope I look just like her when I get older.
All in all it was a very fun and eventful weekend.
