Vegas Vegas Vegas!

One of our friends was celebrating his birthday and we decided to go big. Vegas big. A weekend without kids big and it was an epic weekend!

My sister Michelle flew in Thursday afternoon and we headed out Thursday night! We had a couple of hours to go over everything and then it was off to party.

We met everyone at the airport. Our flight ended up being delayed by about an hour so we had dinner, and just chilled.

We then boarded and got ready for the flight. We were totally those obnoxious people that were laughing and having a fantastic time the whole flight. Those people around us either joined in or they would glare at us. hahaha It was pretty funny and I felt a smidge bad.

We arrived in Vegas and didn't skip a beat. I'm not sure if we were trying to hide Thunder down Under or if we were being attracted to the men??? Hahaha either way we couldn't stop laughing.

We unloaded our bags and headed out to get some food. We were all starving. We went to The Hash and it was FREAKING AMAZING!!! I don't know if it was because we were soooo hungry or what but it was some of thee best breakfast food I have ever had.

We got back to our rooms and chatted and just hung out until about 3am. We finally decided to call it a night.

The next day we headed out to walk around the strip. We explored the hotels, shopped and gambled a little bit. It was pretty funny because no matter what, Dan and I just couldn't lose. We were on a hot streak. It was pretty awesome.

Our hotel pool was on the very top floor! It was fun being up this high!

To celebrate Wes's birthday we got all fancy and headed out for dinner and a show.

Dinner at the Bellagio. We ate and ate and ate and ate.

After dinner we went to "O" by Cirque Du Soleil. It was all with water and it was INCREDIBLE!!!
Waiting for the show to start. We were all in high heels and our feet were killing us. Good thing we had our bags full of flip-flops and comfortable "Nurse Shoes". Sorry inside joke. Insert eye role.

After we walked around some more and then headed back to our hotel. Where we busted out some Karaoke!

Morning came too soon and we were all soooooo tired. But we all got up to get some delicious Crepe's!!

Ok so no pictures got taken but its definitely something to write down. We went and got thee most ghetto massages ever. I mean I have never laughed so hard that I couldn't breath because of all the funny stuff that was happening. Truly an experience I will never forget.

Maura and Cole were sleeping on the pullout couch in the living room. Maura was so tired and we were all still hanging out that she fell asleep with a fitted sheet. She was out cold! It made me love her all that much more.

We went and got pedicures

Boys got them too!

That night we went to TAPE FACE. Look him up on Youtube. So funny and so clever! Dan got pulled up on stage and had a staple gun fight with balloons in his armpits and between his legs. Dan hates that kind of thing so it made it all that more funny!

Another late night of food and messing around on the strip. We were so tired and wired all at the same time. We were stupid laughing over everything!!

We had a lot of good laughs and stupid inside jokes that will not be soon forgotten.

Late night dip into the pool

Walking around shopping for Christmas and just exploring the hotels. We ended up in this scrub shop and we all got our hands massaged. It felt good. "Santa" ended up putting some in my stocking!

Paris

And of course some hardstanding in Vegas was a must.

Coming back to reality was hard. WE were all sooooo tired and worn out and we all had kids and work to get back to the next day. But it was all soooooo worth it. We had a blast and it made our friendship bond all that much more incredible.

2018 Family Photos

One of my besties Melissa just happens to be an amazing photographer. So here are our 2018 family pictures!!

November Randoms

Not too many Randoms for November just because it was a busy month full of other activities.

June had her 100th day at school and dressed in 50's! I mean how cute she is is beyond words!!

One day I went and had lunch with June. It's always fun surprise.

I had the brilliant idea to get the flu shots done all at the same time.... And like a mean mom I totally snapped a picture of all my crying babies.

I made up for it with lots of hugs, kisses, snuggles and ice cream and Dairy Queen.

June was chosen out of the entire school to read her poem, THAT SHE WROTE!!, at the veterans day assembly. She did so good!!!

June had her Thanksgiving feast and as usual we had fun being with friends!

Dan and I celebrated our 11 year anniversary. Oh how I love him and how much he makes me a better person. He is by far (and I think everyone would agree) that he is the better half. We had fun doing acro yoga one day!

June went to a birthday party and this was the only picture I got. But she had a blast!

Ok, so Owen's soccer's schedule was nuts!! WE had sooooo much rain. so I know I wrote about it in October but he also had games in November. He finished strong and we loved playing at the park.

Screw all those people who think participant trophies are hurtful to kids. If I can get that smile on his face to me its a win.

Kate got a new hat for winter and she didn't take it off for DAYS!!

Dan has a Bonzi tree and it has grown so much he had to bring it home to change pots. I love that he grows all these things at work. He has so many plants!

One cold morning we had some frost and Owen was so excited because he thought it was snow. So he went out and played in it for  a bit. Yes, even in shorts.

More yoga fun with the fam.

All in all a simple and good November! And now off to the Crazy month of DECEMBER!!
