Destin 2019
There are so many pictures and we lived at the beach all week long, so to save myself some time I'm keeping the pictures in random order but will explain along the way...
A group of friends gathered together to head to Florida the week before school starts. It was an amazing trip and we had a blast!
Between all of us we have 18 kids. We were a bit worried about this since we were going to be near water the majority of the trip but we did great! No child was ever lost and with 10 adults we had eyes and ears on children at all times near the water.
One of my friends is a fellow yogi just like me so we had fun doing yoga on the beach!
Body boarding was so much fun! June got into it too which made it even better!

More body surfing. This particular time was a lot of fun. All the kids were back at the house watching a movie (our house was right on the beach) with the older kids so us adults headed back to the water and we all got to surf!

Living in the sand. Once we embraced that we would be covered in Sand majority of the time, it made it way less painful to let the kids get buried from head to toe.

Every night we would feed the kids get them settled and then us adults would head out to dinner. We didn't want to drive separate so we all piled into one car. That hand sticking out was me. Crunched on the floor. Hahaha
Then we would party in the house all night. We had some really good laughs!

We all tried to balance on shoulders but the best was watching the boys try to balance. We were laughing so hard!
We eventually went for seated. It was hard with the constant movement of the ocean but it was fun!
At times the water would rise so high that it would create a little river type thing behind us. The kids loved playing in it!

Two little betties. Charolette and Kate are both very dominate in their personalities. So they fight and play hard. Hahaha and they boss everyone around.

Our house had a pool and honestly we thought we wouldn't use it but the kids swam in it all the time. After being at the beach we would come home, since off and go swimming. The kids seriously lived in water all week long.

Fab Five Boys
From sun up until sun down we were at the beach and in water.
Once the sun goes down all these tiny little crabs start wondering around the beach. So we go crab hunting which was super cool for the kids to see. They loved catching them!
Then at the very end we let the crabs all go and it was so cool to see probably over 100 crabs just scurry away!

A sea cucumber washed up right by our feet one day. It was still alive and super gross but also super cool. The Ocean is a creepy place.
More body surfing
One day the waves were HUGE!!! Like I mean so big that the water marshalls kept telling us to leave the water. It wasn't safe... but the waves were so big and so much fun to body surf with that we kept going in. We obviously didn't let the kids go but us adults were having the time of our lives. Probably too risky and we probably shouldn't have been out there but it was a rush. There were so many times that my body was just thrown around. It was really really scary! hahaha
Late night, very late night laughter and fun!
One day we were all playing in the pool and the pool guy came to check on the chemicals. When he saw all these kids he asked if they were all ours. We said yes and he looked at us in shock and said "You know cable is cheaper right?!?!" hahahahaha he couldn't believe how many kids we had between us all.
One dinner night we decided to do raw oysters... Oh my gosh they were soooooo gross. I almost couldnt keep it down. I had to mentally make myself swallow. It was pure grossness. Haha

We play a different way of uno and it gets intense. Friendships get tested and marriages come close to ending. hahaha just kidding not really but these uno games get HEATED!!!!
We had an incredibly amazing time in Destin. We loved being there with all our friends and just chilling for the week. It was so laid back and we had zero plans or expectations. It was exactly how a trip should be! We can't wait to go back next year!!
