I always love going and visiting my sister in San Francisco!
I went by myself a day early and enjoyed the city!
I walked around, got lost a whole bunch of times, my phone died over and over again and i found myself walking for miles just exploring and never too worried about finding my way back to my sisters. It was amazing!
I went and got lunch on my own at a little Mediterrain place. It was so good. I loved the small vibe and these brussel sprouts were AMAZING!!!
My sisters and mom flew in the next day. I went and did a yoga class at my favorite local yoga spot in the city and then we went and met them at the airport. I started feeling a little sick but just shook it off. I was so excited to see everyone.
While waiting for everyone to get in, I got to have amazing avocado on a toasted bagel! It was soooo good!
That night us girls went to our hotel and then my parents came down and met us. We went shopping and ate. I was starting to feel even worse but held strong through the night.
That next day my sister arranged for us to have a sail boat tour guide around the Golden Gate Bridge. I was feeling awful by this point. I could not get warm and my whole body ached. I knew I was sick but didn't want to miss out. So I just sat down and didn't move the entire ride. It was fun and views of the bridge I would never get to see any other way but I was FREEZING!!!
Sunday was Juliets blessing and I was beyond sick. I got ready and then crawled back into bed. I was shaking all over. I turned the hotel heat up to like 80. My sisters were not pleased. haha
We made it to the church and I laid on my dads shoulder and was out for the entire sacrament meeting . Honestly I haven't felt that horrible in many years.
My smile here is not the greatest. haha I was using all my will power and energy to make it through.
We all came back to my sisters house to have dinner and I crashed on the bed. For like 5 hours. I just slept. I woke up feeling much better but still pretty miserable.
We surprised my dad with cake because it was his birthday that next weekend. My sister grabbed some candles she had left over and no one knew but they were trick candles. It was so funny!
That Monday we woke up and headed home. I was feeling pretty miserable still so I slept the entire flight.
The trip was fun! I felt bad that I was so sick, but with my family it's always a good time.
