June's Baptism

June made the choice to be baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was baptized on November 9th, 2019.
We were so fortunate to have family from far come and friends close by to come and support our little June bug with her big decision.

Hanging out at the airport waiting for Nana and Papa to arrive

June got a big lego set as one of her birthday presents from Nana and Papa so naturally her and nana worked on it together.

That Friday, Aunt Meg flew in with her girls. It was fun shopping and going to eat at Torchy Tacos.

While the girls shopped the boys, (including Dan, Owen, my dad, Dan's dad and his brother Will) went and played golf.

Saturday was the day of the baptism. It was at 10:30am. We arrived at the church at 10am to set up and be all ready and there wasn't a soul in site to let us into the church. Obviously I instantly went into panic mode. Hahaha. But all was well, the primary president showed up and it all worked out.

Our cousin Sam and three of our besties sang during the baptism.

Grandpa Lancaster gave the talk on Baptism
Grandma Mendenhall gave the talk on The Holy Ghost

Dan baptized June and he did fantastic. Then he blessed her with the Holy Ghost. I always love hearing him give these extra blessings to my children. It just feels my soul with deep love for him over and over again.

And the fact that he has the hardest time looking at the camera! Hahahahaha

One of my besties Melissa. Who took all our pictures, and made things go smoothly.

Our family!

Our family who traveled far to come and support June. We are so grateful for them. It's not always easy to get away and leave life behind, so it meant the world to us that they made the effort to come.

June has the very best primary Teachers! We are so grateful for them!

After the baptism we had a luncheon. Chicken and waffles. Turned out to be a huge success.

After we ate, the kids played outside and the adults played corn hole!

I was beyond tired by the end of the day. Lots of emotions and fun! So blessed to have June and her decision to be baptized!
