February Randoms

February was a full, fast month! We once again were dealing with sickness but also we had some awesome times as a family!

Super Bowl Sunday we partied with our friends. I randomly chose to cheer on the Rams and made this shirt an hour before we left. hahaha

When Owen and June are at school we play

Yes, Kate got sick AGAIN!!! This one took her down pretty hard!

We slowly got better though!

Kate and daddy letting me know they made it to Owen's soccer practice

Happiness with this child

She brought me this headband so we could match!

Little Owen with his Mario hat and lining up all his little creatures.

The second annual Daddy Daughter Dance and Cox Elementary

Look at all these little friends

Kate was loving on this hippo puzzle piece!

One day Dan surprised me with a clean car and some of my favorite treats!

Kate received the "Be like Jesus" award at school! She was so excited to have a sign hang in the front yard.

Valentines tradition of taking Valentine's to Dan's work.

Followed with Lunch!

This Valentines I had to teach yoga so we had to have a quick dinner but still fun and the kids got little Valentines.

Valentine's Yoga

We took the kids to the Dallas Aquarium one weekend! It was a lot of fun!

Oh what?! Sick AGAIN!?!? Shock me shock me! YES! She got sick for a fourth time!!!!

I went to go pick Owen up from school. With Kate being sick she was out & Owen fell asleep on the way home too. It was a quiet afternoon.

Kate kept throwing up EVERYWHERE! I could not keep up with sheets being changed. So poor thing finally just slept on some blankets

One night during a yoga class I had a lady who spoke zero english. And I had to guide her throughout the entire practice. It was a learning experience but an awesome one at that!

School night fair

June's art show project

Owen and one of his little buddies from school!

I have been blogging for 10 years and printed my 10th blog book this year! So crazy!!

Back in January June auditioned to be in her school's talent show! She made the show and sang "Flashlight". She did soooo good! I had tears in my eyes the entire time! I couldn't get over how brave she was! She wasn't nervous at all!!!

Owen giving a primary talk this month. He has bloomed so much into his little personality! It has been so great seeing him come out of his shell and grow into such a little boy!

And just like that February is over!

January Randoms

January was a rough month for us. Pretty much the entire month one of us with sick! sometimes multiple of us were sick. It wasn't great but we also had some fun little memories. It was a month that I was not sad to see go.

Fun yoga play with my kiddos

One weekend Dan was gone and I felt like all these things kept happening to the house or with kids. Thankfully we literally have the most amazing friends who came to my rescue! Including keeping me sane with the kids and playing kick ball in the Cul-De-Sac

Just kate being Kate. I have a lot of pictures of her this month

Our weather brought a few ice storms but never enough to close school or work down. Just enough to be annoying and have to deal with it.

One day Kate was feeling awful. I sent this picture to Dan telling him that I think Kate is getting sick.

She stayed snuggly all day long

June dressed up Daddy for some fancy time. Hahahaha

Sweet little June one Sunday!

Kate started feeling better, the weather warmed up & we got to spend the afternoon at the school park. It was AMAZING!!

Random of Range

Then it was back to Kate being sick again

I was going stir crazy in the house and so I decided to take matters into my own hands and took out the carpet in our closet. It was driving me crazy anyways. Dan was gone, one of our friends came over and showed me how to get the nail boards out and Dan came home to an empty closet. Bahahhaha

Our sweet little neighbor babysitter gave the kids build a bear's for Christmas where they got to go stuff them themselves. It was such a cute and thoughtful Christmas gift for the kids

On Sunday's we try our hardest at our Come Follow Me lessons. Mostly it just ends up in a body slam competition.

One morning with my little Go-Go's, I gotta say I think right now is my most favorite with this kid. He is easily becoming my favorite. Shhhhhh don't tell the others.

He usually wakes up first and we get some time just him and me in the mornings. It makes me happy!

After my workouts I usually drink a muscle milk, and usually Kate takes my muscle milk and drinks it. She loves it and secretly I do too.

Some yoga with Kate

pool birthday party with our friends

My parents got Kate this baby for the tub. You fill it with water and it fills like a real baby. It's weird but Kate is obsessed with it and we have to go everywhere with it. Including it's ducky floatie.

Play date with friends

One of my favorite pictures

Kate not feeling well during one of my yoga classes. So during resting pose I came and got her and she snuggled right up to me.

And another snap shot to Dan to let him know that Kate is probably sick again.

This little thing is so independent! WITH EVERYTHING! It drives me crazy and I love it all at the same time. Its so fun watching her learn and grow.

So at this point in time, I got incredibly sick as well. Both Kate and I got knocked down sooooo hard!

Lot's of doctors trips, medicine and miserable little faces. This picture breaks my heart.

Like I said, we had some good and a lot of bad in January. It was a long winter month!!!

Kate Turns 3!

Our sweet little Kate turned three this past January!
She is our firecracker. She has thee sweetest heart but it turns to fire when she wants something. I admit that being the youngest we cave pretty easily to her. I'm sure we are ruining her somehow but I seriously just cannot say no to this child. She kills me every. single. day.

Her actual birthday fell on a Tuesday, which is her school day. So i asked if she wanted to go to school or not and she most definitely chose school! She loves her little preschool. So I brought small cupcakes and little goodie bags for her class.

Later that night we celebrated when Dan got home and opened presents.

The following weekend we had friends come over and celebrate. We had cupcakes & busted open a piñata!

Our fire cracker Kate never stops! She brings so much joy and laughter into our family! Some of her favorite foods are tomatoes and cheese blocks! The girl is obsessed with Doc Mcstuffins and Noddy's world. She wants to stick with the big kids so badly all the time and is so freakishly independent. It scares me to death the things she tries. She is last child material to a T. She gets away with all the things and we simply just let her. No excuses or reasoning. She hates going to bed and doesn't believe that sleep is good for her. She could go all night long if we let her. She would never fall asleep either. She would be a super grouch but would still hold strong on the no sleep thing! We snuggle every night. She loves to snuggle. She also likes to pretend she is a pillow and thinks its the funniest thing ever! We love hear. Oh so deeply!

Happy Birthday sweet Kate!!
