January Randoms

Little Kate started her first year in primary! She is officially a Sunbeam and felt ok about it. Haha she really misses nursery but she loves being in there with the whole family. Dan and I both have callings in Primary and it's a lot of fun being with the kids.

I don't know why I only have one picture from Dan and Owen's trip up to Canada. But The boys did a trip up North to go visit the Lancaster Clan. The boys had a ton of fun and Owen was obsessed with playing in the snow. He loved playing with his cousins and just being with Daddy. Him and Dan definitely have a special bond.

While the boys were away the girls got to play. I took the girls to get pampered and we all got our nails done. We went and had dinner and then headed back home for a movie night.

We had popcorn and I made fun little candy dish with all their favorite treats.

They started off in bed with each other

And then ended up in bed with me. I sent this picture to Dan that morning.

Little Kate and Cado at Pizza Hut. We love to get their buffet with the kids from the FabFive.

Lots of park days and playing with friends

Owen had his 100th day of school. He wasn't too impressed on dressing up, which is fine. It's him. So we did what we could. I was impressed he even let me draw lines on his face. Haha. All in all he had fun and that's all that matters.

Best little buddies

Then June and I just goofing around one night. With our selfies.

January was a good month. Crazy but that's life.

Kate Turns Four!

Little Kate turned Four this past January! I can't believe my baby is four!! Kate is the spunk of the family. She keeps us laughing non stop and no one can push her around. She rules this house!

Her actual birthday she woke up and we had breakfast and sent the older kids off to school.

I knew Kate was going to have a hard time waiting for the kids to get home from school to open presents, so I planned small presents throughout the day that she could open. That included some new bath toys. Kate loves the bath and could be in there all day if I would let her. So we had a fun bath to help pass the time for school to be over and the kids to be home.

We played games at home, and waited for Dan to get off of work. We then went and had dinner at Mcdonalds, came home and had cake, ice cream and opened presents.

We also put a little color in Kate's hair. It's a washable hair marker but she loved it!

Little Kate's chart!

Kate was spoiled this year from Grandma's and Grandpa's! including her very own make up set!

This year for Kate's big gift, Dan built Kate a sandbox! It turned out amazing and the kids have been obsessed with it ever since we got it!

That weekend, we had a little birthday party for Kate with her close little besties!

We painted bird houses

And decorated cupcakes

We also sang again to her.

We had so much fun celebrating our kater-bug and all the joy that she brings into our lives! We love you little Kate! More than words could ever say!

Happy 4th Birthday!!

Hello 2020

Well hello!
A new year.
New Starts.

So I'm blogging this right now in March and things in 2020 have been a bit rocky. Ok, a lot rocky. As I write this the world has been taken over by the coronavirus. I plan to blog post about that but first I wanted to get into the start of the new year.

We are actually optimistic of this year despite all that is happening right now. We are looking forward to new and fun adventures and goals that we hope to reach individually and as a family. Good changes, learning opportunities and fun times ahead. We can't wait!

Happy 2020

Good Bye 2019

Well 2019 we say goodbye. Another year of awesome ups and downs. So so so so much good has happened this year and also a lot of scary, uncertain events that made us draw closer to each other. The kids have grown so much this year, June has blossomed into such a little lady that I can hardly take it. Owen has become this big brother who loves to bug the crap out of Kate but also help her beyond measure. Kate is Kate with all her sass and love. Gosh she is a ball of energy.

Our summer was incredible and we have loved all the things we were able to do with friends and family.

We say goodbye to another year but not in a sad way. We are so grateful for all we  have experienced this year and all that we have learned. It made us grateful for what we have and showed us how we are to plan for our future.

So, thanks 2019 for all the good, the bad and all the in-between.

New Years Eve

We always have a blast with our crew and we are so grateful for fiends that we can call family. We celebrated hard this New Years and started it all off at the trampoline park!

Owen and little Charolette competing! They were so cute!

Us adults kicked all the kids out of the knock out section and had a good battle! I was so sore the next day because of this! Haha

After the trampoline park we hit up our usual spot at Chick Fil A and then gathered at our house for our annual New Years Eve bash!

We played games galore, ate all the food and just laughed until we were sobbing!

Dan and I hosted a "Newly Wed" game with all of us being married 12+ years. Turned into an ugly battle and truths came out. We learned a lot about each other that night! hahahahaha

Outside getting ready for the big 2020 drop!

We had fire works and sparklers and the kids were loving it! Our lawns was not as we set multiple spots on fire!

Everyone made it past midnight, including all our babies. We couldn't believe it, but after midnight we put a movie on and all the little ones crashed on our bed. I wish I had gotten a picture. It was pretty cute!

Melissa and I just about ready to start ourselves on fire! We weren't very smart that night!

The night ended roughly around 4am. We partied until we literally couldn't keep our eyes open. It was an awesome way to ring in the new year!

Christmas Break

Over Christmas break we had a fantastic time with friends and kiddos! We swam, we went to the movies a bunch and just played around in the neighborhood. It made me crave summer all that much more!

A special thing I did with the girls is took them to the reveal of the 2020 American Girl Doll. It was a big surprise as to who it would be. The girls loved it and it was such a special time with them.

The American Girl Doll is Joss and she is a surfer.

The special brunch included them getting the American girl doll. This is June's 3rd doll and Kate's 1st.

I really loved this special time with just the girls!

Over the break we also took the kids to Chuck E Cheese. A tradition for us and it was a lot of fun.

June was ecstatic to get her first jack pot! And then she scored it two more times!! She was a big winner that day!

Owen also had his fair share of wins and bonus wins! All in all the day was a success.

We loved the time off and we definitely were not ready for school to start back up! WE WANT SUMMER!!!!
