April Randoms

With so much going on in April, We didn't have too many randoms this month. It was good and busy and stressful all at the same time.

This months randoms:

We of course played jokes on the kids for April Fools. Jello in their drinks that look like cool-aid, "Brown E's" and real brownies that looked like poop. The video was fantastic of June's reaction.

I played a few pranks on Dan and it was pretty funny. I love this fun little day!

Random Costco trip. She had her arm wrapped around the Unstoppables the whole time. Just chillin. She's also the cutest.

Post nap snuggles. Literally my favorite part of the day.

General Conference was the first weekend in April, so a lot of time spent in the living room hanging out.

June loves to sing and perform. I mean she takes it to a whole new level. She also ends every performance with introducing herself as "The Snips" and then does this scissor thing with her fingers. It took me buy surprise the first time she did it and I thought it was so funny! I literally could not stop laughing! So now whenever I need a good laugh I ask her to do it. It kills me.

More General Conference

One afternoon, Kate woke up early from her nap so we decided to go get sonic and also bring a treat to daddy. He works right next to the Los Colinas Mustangs, so I let the kids play there for a bit with every intention of heading home in a few minutes. We needed up spending the entire afternoon there. The kids were having so much fun! We played all the way until Dan got off work, which then we decided to not get stuck in traffic and so we went to a local pizza shop and ate there for dinner. It was a fun random day out!

Mall play places. We are sadly growing out of these. Kate will get to play every once in a while, but June get's bored at most of the locations and Owen is starting to lose interest too. But we still get to have some fun!

Owen fell asleep one afternoon (Which is rare) and then woke up with a nasty little fever. Thankfully it was just a 24 hour bug and he got over it quickly.

Kate getting into things.

Their  Aunt Michelle sent the kids some fun little surprises. This puzzle was one of them. We sent her a picture with it all put together and thanked her!

Dan has really really been enjoying baking lately and has been making us some delicious items. Owen loves soft pretzels so Dan made them one night! They were a huge hit!

Kate and Owen just playing. Thankfully no one was in tears.

Owen gave his first talk in Primary. He gets pretty shy when talking in front of people. First he doesn't say anything, then he whispers and then he starts talking like Darth Vader. Not really sure what thats about, but he finished his talk and I was proud of him.

And here is a bunch of pictures of Kate. Mostly because I adore this little girl beyond belief and also her love for those necklaces. Every morning it's the first thing she reaches for, at nap time I have to hang them in the same spot so she knows where they are and then they go right back on after. Same thing for bedtime. It's adorable.

Many of you know that I love yoga and have been doing a lot of it. Well that has been rubbing off on June and Owen quite a bit. June is always asking for help! Fine by me. She's being active and being by my side. Can't complain too much!

When June goes to choir, Owen usually falls asleep on the car ride up there, so Kate and I get to hangout for an hour. We spend a lot of the time in the front seat and outside.

The kids and I made rock candy. It took a few days and then the kids got impatient so we decided to eat them. We were happy that they grew at least some!

Listening to music together.

That sums up our April. With lots of trips and craziness, it's been a pretty good month.
Thanks April!
