DISNEY WORLD! Travel/ DISNEY SPRINGS & Day One MAGIC KINGDOM!

We were so excited to plan another Disney World trip for the kids and us! It's a lot of planning to get everything done just right and do Disney to the fullest but thankfully I am married to the most organized man who researches and plans the worlds best Disney Trips.

It was amazing!

Getting to the airport is always an even in itself. We had so much luggage plus the double stroller, but the kids were troopers to pull their own luggage and once we got to the airport Disney takes care of the rest and gets it to our hotel room. It's magic.

The kids flew great!! Thanks to lots of snacks and iPads. Haha

That poor guy next to Kate. Hahaha

Once we landed in Florida we just followed our Disney sign and got on our shuttle  to our hotel. The Polynesian Hotel.

We were about a 40 minute ride away but the Disney shuttle has cartoons & entertaining jokes for the kids.

We arrived in our hotel, got settled, freshened up a bit and then headed to Disney Springs for the night.
We had dinner reservations at Disney's Rainforest Cafe for the evening.

We then walked around enjoyed the shops and started off with our first purchase of souvenirs.

That night we tried to get the kids to bed early because it was going to be a crazy week. As we turned off the lights and got ready to fall asleep we all of the sudden heard these fireworks. We all flung off our covers and headed out to our balcony window. We had a lake view room and we saw a boat show & the fireworks. The fireworks were beyond amazing. I can't even explain it. And I think Owen's favorite part about the entire vacation was the nightly boat parade on the water. It just put a huge smile on our faces!! We were beyond excited for the week.

The next day we hit the ground running and we did not stop the entire day! Our hotel was awesome and had sand everywhere as if we were at the beach. It was so fun!

Our resort was super close to Magic Kingdom so we got to ride our hotel boat over to the park.

As we first walked in, the magic instantly hits you and your stomach fills with butterflies. We started the day off strong with a parade with some of the kids favorite characters.

DISNEY WORLD!!!

You wouldn't think I wasn't going to do any yoga while in Disney right?! Ha!!

I love this family so much. Like so so freaking much.

Lots of fun little shows and sing alongs through out the day! You stop if you want or you just keep going. It's non stop all day!!

We obviously did everything we could in our power to not wait in long lines. We timed everything with a plan B so we weren't stressed if things didn't work out according to plan. We wanted a plan with a go with the flow vibe. It worked out wonderfully. We hardly waited in any lines thanks to our fast pass strategy! Our first stop was a water safari.

Then we went and did Aladdin's magic carpet ride. The kids loved this ride!

After we did our fast pass rides and did some exploring, we headed up to Cinderella's castle for lunch. We had this lunch scheduled for months and we were so excited to go in. We didn't make it last time we went, so we were all giddy. Outside the castle the Fairy God Mother was out doing pictures and autographs. Owen had no interest! haha not surprised so the girls and I went and got her autograph and picture while the boys checked in on our reservations.

In the castle we first stopped and saw Cinderella. Owen was all about the princesses! It was so funny and cute! Kate was beside herself and June was her happy little princess self. She fit right in with them.

The castle was AMAZING! Like I got teary eyed. They just do everything to perfection including our waitress who brought over wands and swords for us all and treated us like royalty. We had an seriously amazing three course meal and got ready to meet the princesses.

Snow White

Sleeping Beauty

Jazmine

Arial. Kate full on attacked Arial with a HUGE hug. I have it on film. It knocked Arial to the ground. That is why they are sitting. Hahahaha

The kids got to build their own cupcakes with fun decorations and frosting. We got some amazing cakes and chocolate stuff (Not sure what?! ) but it was gone in a matter of seconds. So good!!

After the castle and lunch we headed out. The kids wanted to do the Carousel and the line was nothing so we hopped right on!

Little Kate always with her cheese grin.

Lots of stops for treats!

We had more fun on rides like the Tea cup ride

Shooting down Zerg on the Buzzlighter ride

I don't have any pictures of it but I do have to say that Dan, Owen, & June all went on Space Mountain. It terrified the kids but they did it and were feeling brave about it. Kate and I went shopping and bought fun surprise souvenirs for the kids and Dan.

We also went and did the Haunted Mansion. Owen LOVED that ride. He thought it was so funny with the ghosts. June freaked out a little but soon got over it. Not her favorite ride.

Took a break for some silly selfies.

We stopped for dinner just on the streets of the park. We didn't have dinner reservations that night, so we just hung out outside.

After dinner we went and hit up more rides. This was the little mermaid ride. June loved this ride!

We loaded up on more souvenirs and went to go do more rides.

This car one was really fun. June and Owen were tall enough to drive. June was all about it and couldn't wait to take control over the steering wheel.

Then that night we faced the crowds and watched one of the most epic firework shows ever. My heart was pounding and I don't know if it was just because I was so exhausted, or I saw the looks on my kids faces with all that was around them, but I had tears running down my cheeks. It was pure magic. Honestly. Disney knows. It was so spectacular.

We then headed back to our hotel.
We ended up doing a solid 15 hours that day. I could not believe how well the kids did. They were AMAZING!! No meltdowns, no crazy blowups, nothing! It was perfection .

We were all exhausted and we didn't get to bed until about 12:30 that night. As soon as we all hit the pillows we were out cold.

*Hotel Note- Kate slept in the little twin size bed. Owen and I slept in one bed and Dan and June slept in the other. That sleeping arrangement changed every single night! Hahahaha

DAY ONE COMPLETE!
